Summer Academy Fellows
Welcome back!
Dear Summer Academy Fellow,
If you are a returning student to the Summer Academy program, you are considered a Fellow. We hope your participation in the program during previous summers challenged you and made you anticipate your full-time enrollment at a university. After just one summer of attending courses on a UC campus, you probably feel confident of your academic skills and have greater knowledge of some of the resources available to you on a college campus. You are ahead of the pack!
Just think about how much you have learned by attending classes at UC Riverside! The experience has given you a true sample of what you can expect when you attend a post-secondary institution as a full-time student. As a Fellow in the Summer Academy program, you are now able to take more than one class during each summer sessions (provided you have successfully completed previous classes.) This means you can earn more credit to your undergraduate degree even faster!
As a seasoned Summer Academy Fellows, you can help us share the value of this program with other high school students. To reward you for your help, you can receive a discount of up to $100 off of your total tuition. Summer Academy Fellows receive a standard $50 discount; however, an additional $50 discount is offered to Fellows who help at the Orientation and/or take catalogs to their high school for distribution for a maximum discount of $100 per Fellow. If you qualify for financial assistance, you cannot combine both discounts - instead, the highest discount will be applied. Take advantages of the Fellows discount Summer 2010 by submitting your Summer Academy application along with the Fellows Application.
