International High School/Secondary School Students
We WELCOME International High School/Secondary School Students!
You may be eligible to take UCR college courses this Summer!
If you are an international student currently attending secondary/high school in your country and will be returning to your secondary/high school after summer 2010, you can take UC Riverside courses during summer as a Summer Academy student. Eligible students can take first and /or second Summer Sessions courses. To be eligible, you must:
- Have very strong English language written and verbal skills
- A TOEFL score of at least 550 (paper) or 79 (IBT) OR you must be attending a school in which English is the language of instruction
- An official translated copy of your secondary grades transcript
- An endorsement letter from a teacher or counselor attesting to your academic skills
If you meet the above requirements, you will then need to fill out the Summer Academy application form AND the Internationl Education Programs application form (this form is currently disabled until the 2010 fees are determined).

Reminder: Summer Session 6 is not available for international students.
Note: If you are a graduating senior, you can apply through the Summer Sessions to
take UCR courses this summer.
